Business vs Residential Switching
The business switching process is very similar to residential, with a few differences:
- Higher referral credit — £75 vs £50 for residential customers
- Business details required — company name, registration number (if applicable), and business address
- Contract considerations — business energy contracts may have different exit fee structures
- VAT — business energy is subject to VAT (typically at 20%, though some organisations qualify for the reduced 5% rate)
- Same great service — the same 4.8/5 Trustpilot-rated customer support team handles both residential and business accounts
